The 1968 B14 was designed for the North American Formula B series, a cheaper alternative to Formuula A (F5000), FB catering for stock-block 1600cc-powered cars. The B14 design was based on the B9 Formula 3 car and 3 cars were built and shipped to North America where they competed aginst the other popular customer cars, notably Brabham and Lotus.
